Altaf graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2000, after which he went on to complete his vocational training in general practice. He then worked in a private practice in London, which provided advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Altaf returned home in 2004, set up his practice in Huddersfield and then went on to become principal of Sandal Dental Care in 2008.
Altaf has gained a wide range of experience in general practice and has completed extensive postgraduate education, which includes advanced qualifications in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Altaf has a special interest in dental implants and short-term orthodontics, completing several advanced courses and All-on-4 implant training at the well-known Eastman Dental Institute. He has been providing dental implants over the last seven years and has recently invested in a CBCT scan machine and Itero scanner, which means all the implant cases are digitally planned.
Altaf is a level one and two provider of the Six Month Smiles orthodontic system and to date has completed many cases. He is a member of the British Dental Association, Association of Dental Implantology and International Team of Implantology.
