Dental bridges
in Halifax

Dental bridges can help to fill gaps in your smile where teeth have been lost. Supported by crowns anchored to adjacent teeth or to dental implants, dental bridges can replace multiple or single missing teeth for an attractive and natural-looking solution.

What are the benefits of dental bridges?

  • Dental bridges are effective where individual or multiple teeth are missing
  • They look natural, and can be colour matched to your existing teeth
  • They allow you to eat, chew and speak in a normal way
  • Dental bridges offer protection from possible problems related to missing teeth

A popular solution

Once your dental bridges have been fitted, they will feel more natural than traditional dentures. They can be kept clean with your usual hygiene routine, and will help you to regain confidence in your smile. Dental bridges offer a flexible solution even if you only have a few supporting teeth available.

Your dental bridge treatment

During your initial appointment, your dentist will gently adjust the shape of the teeth that will support your dental bridge. They will then take dental impressions, which will be used by specialist dental laboratory technicians to create your new bridge. While you wait for this permanent bridge to be made, your dentist will fit a temporary crown or bridge to protect your teeth in the meantime. Your dentist will be happy to answer all your questions about this treatment.
